"Furnishing homes for those most in need, helping move on from homelessness."
Community furniture Aid Family Run Award winning registered charity. providing,a bespoke offering offering the comforts of a home furniture & household item packs for people who are fleeing domestic abuse homeless living in poverty and all vulnerable adults and children across Bridgend County, Vale of Glamorgan, Port Talbot, and part of RCT for a nominal set price. We work with over 80 agencies and groups to assist in fully furnishing homes, we also over a gentle house clearance service for bereaved families. A sign posting service and sell single items for families in need. We also provide a toiletries & food pack with every furnishings, working with foodbank, faredhareand and Coop.
We also offer a part and full sympathic House Clearance for low no charge (we do not take waste or rubbish)
Community Furniture Aid are a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers who work tirelessly to help those most in need
We rely on public donations of clean reusable items. We run a service 5 plus days a week plus out of hours emergency service. We accept clothing and all furniture, furnishings except large white electric items and items unsuitable for our service.
We hope that you will see that we provide an excellent & much needed service to our local community and this is growing every month.

We are always in need of donations of items for our "store cupboard" to add to our packs. We accept donations of clean undamaged furniture household items and clothing.
We offer a house clearance service.
We are very keen to have new members join our team of volunteers..
People can come to us to volunteer from all backgrounds we are are open to all sections of society.
Some work is physically demanding so this requires strength.
We take volunteers who have had difficult past lives and help them to re-engage with the community and help combat loneliness and build confidence. Help with training , CVs and we are out & about in the van around the County.
