What We Do

We offer a range of services that support recovery and wellbeing from a person centred approach

Online Mental Health Training

This online training is a basic introduction designed to raise awareness & reduce the stigma & discrimination associated with mental health.

Suicide Prevention & Awareness Training

Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind are pleased to offer FREE Suicide Prevention & Awareness training sessions to anyone in Kent and Medway.

MMK Mind MHFA Courses

Coping With… Mental Health Courses

As part of our package of support, MMK Mind offer two distinct Coping With… Mental Health Courses which are designed to support people by teaching them coping strategies and other skills to help them live with their mental health conditions.

Counselling in Maidstone

The Counselling Service of Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind is available to clients by arrangement in the daytime, evening and at weekends, at our wellbeing centre in Maidstone.

Hope Café

The Hope Café is a service for people who are experiencing mental health or emotional health crisis. If you are not in crisis, please do not access the Hope Café, but instead look to our Community Groups.

Wellbeing Café 

An out of hours Wellbeing Café based in Ashford facilitated by our Wellbeing Workers and volunteers.

Socialise

Our social group offers the opportunity for supported socialising.

Release the Pressure

If you are beginning to feel the pressure, don't suffer in silence. Support is free and confidential, provided by an independent charity and funded by Kent County Council.

Time to Change

Time to Change is England's biggest programme to challenge mental health stigma and discrimination.

Maidstone Community Activity Groups

At MMK Mind we  offer a variety of Community Activity Groups which enable people to come and get proactive and partake in various activities in a warm and welcoming environment.
