Mission

Work in partnership with stakeholders and the community to

  • Create employment and volunteering opportunities
  • Services and support structures that improve wellbeing (such as foodbanks )
  • Infrastructure to enhance the safety and appeal of local environment
  • A thriving, active, informed and aspirational community that takes responsibility for its future

What We Do

Four Greens  Community Trust provides emergency support, advice and activity to some of the most vulnerable in our community and this includes

  • Access to emergency food bank - just turn up or phone
  • Co-operative Social Supermarket Thursday afternoons 1:00pm - 5:00pm. Open to all
  • Befriending Support
  • Advocacy and peer support
  • Financial Planning 
  • Physical Activity
  • Mental Health Support
  • Projects that reduce social isolation

Although our geographical area is PL5 we can offer support to anyone.  Either phone on 01752 875916 or come into the Centre between 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.  A friendly face awaits you!!



Volunteer

Volunteering opportunities include:

  • Working on our food provision operation
  • Helping with operations at the Co-operative Social Supermarket
  • Picking up food from our suppliers
  • Supporting the community groups that run from the Centre
  • Providing befriending and advocacy advice
  • Odd jobs and DIY tasks
  • Supporting local community events
  • Fund raising and sponsorship 
  • Potentially becoming a member of the Board of Management

Four Greens Community Trust is a Community Interest Company and was formed in 2014.  It became a Wellbeing Hub in 2018.
