Cradle to Crawl
"For Parents / Carers with babies aged from birth to 6 months"
Each week (during term time only), parents / carers with babies come together to socialise with one another. During these sessions, whilst enjoying a refreshing cuppa, they engage in chat and / or baby related crafts. Towards the end of this session, we sing together all of the babies favourite songs.
Benefiting from this group would be any parent / carer needing or simply wanting to know what to expect in the months ahead, an opportunity to share news about their babies developmental milestones, or talk though any issues or concerns relating to their babies, including 'possibly' how their new arrival is affecting change within their families.
Parents/ carers are invited to weigh their babies using the medical grade weighing scales provided at this group.
You can volunteer to help this group if you are willing to provide a 'friendly' listening ear to parents / carers, or cuddle a baby when requested by their parents / carers. In order to do this you must also be willing to undertake a DBS check, carried out by the Safeguarding Officer at the Methodist Church.
