https://www.welfaresupport.netWe are a registered cross border charity who supports armed forces veteran's and their families wherever we can. The service is fully online and easy to access via phone 0300 300 2288 Social Media our Facebook group via our Linked-In Group via the VirtualHub via our WelfareSupport referral via our contact system via [email protected] via our LiveChat which pops up on all our websites.
The service is very responsive, and easily found on Google by using the keyword "forcesonline"
It is open to all serving and ex serving members of the armed forces community and their families.
The three project areas of Forces Online can be accessed from https://www.fol.charity which acts as a signpost to our services.
https://www.forcesonline.org.uk is our main site which has lots of information and the veterans directory which allows free listings to any organisation that supports Armed Forces Veterans and their Families.
https://www.welfaresupport.net is the welfare arm of Forces Online and has very quick response times to requests for support through our referral system that can include self, family, agency and mates referrals.
https://www.virtualhub.uk is a veteran peer to peer service which is online Monday to Saturday 1000-1700 and a couple of evenings - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1900 -2100.
https://www.veteransinneed.org.uk is an information website which is partnered with and supports Forces Online
We are looking for volunteers and trustees to help with many on and offline aspects of the organisation.
They can be in any location in the United Kingdom and get involved in areas such as:
* Social Media (Facebook - Linked In - Twitter - YouTube)
*Our Websites (Word Press platforms) including design, research, development, database and data input.
*The VirtualHub - operators.
*General Administration.
*VSC (Veteran Support Coordinators - County Based.
Trustees - across the whole of the UK to get involved in decision making and viability or Forces Online.
"Regional Coordinators for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Welfare Benefits and Counselling staff.
