Win on Waste
Win on Waste has been helping people in the BCP and Dorset Council areas get smart with their waste and recycling since 2013. Since 2014, the network of Win on Waste sessions has grown to 17 sessions on a monthly basis, collecting a wide range of items and either responsibly recycling them in aid of our charity, or diverting items to worthwhile causes in the local area. From November 2019-March 2020, they collected over 3500 bags of waste and projected that would have risen to nearly 10,000 bag by the end of the year, if not for Covid-19.
At present, win on waste are unable to collect in person due to covid 19, however they are able to help people directly with what waste they have at home via email, or social media and using the We Need That directory on their website. Win on waste’s current plan is to begin collection sessions again when it is safe to do so.
