DESCRIPTION:This week is Dementia Action Week\, and the theme again this year is diagnosis.  \nAccording to The Alzheimer’s Society\, the biggest barrier to early diagnosis of dementia is the misconception that memory loss is a normal sign of ageing. This Dementia Action Week\, take the time to learn the signs of dementia. \nAccording to the NHS\, early signs of dementia include: \n\nMemory loss\nDifficulty concentrating\nFinding it hard to carry out familiar daily tasks\, for example getting confused over the correct change when shopping\nStruggling to follow a conversation or find the right word\nBeing confused about time and place\nMood changes\n\n#Dementia affects everyone differently\, but it’s important to consult your GP if you or someone you know begin experiencing these early symptoms. \nSource: Dementia Action Week | Alzheimer’s Society
