SUMMARY:Anti-Bullying Week
DESCRIPTION:The theme for this year’s Anti-Bullying Week is “Break the Silence” \nThis year’s campaign – Break the Silence – will encourage children\, young people and adults across the UK to start conversations about bullying\, speak up\, listen and take action together. \nThe theme was developed in collaboration with the anti-bullying sector and shaped directly by the voices of more than 200 children and young people\, many of whom spoke about the silence that can surround bullying and the barriers young people face in asking for help. \nOrganised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance\, which is coordinated by leading children’s charity the National Children’s Bureau\, Anti-Bullying Week has become one of the largest children’s wellbeing campaigns in the UK\, reaching an estimated 8 million children and young people and over 80% of schools each year. \nThe week will also include Odd Socks Day on  Monday 16th November\, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique. \nThis Anti-Bullying Week let’s come together to have discussions about what bullying means to us\, how banter can turn into something more hurtful\, and what we can do to stop bullying. \nTogether\, we can use our Power for Good to end bullying — for good. \nSource:  Anti-Bullying Week 2026: Break the Silence \n#ReachOut #AntiBullyingWeek #MakeANoiseAboutBullying #ChooseRespect #BreakTheSilence

SUMMARY:Carers Rights Day
DESCRIPTION:This year\, Carers Rights Day is on Thursday 19 November and the theme is  ‘Someone you know is carer – but do they know it yet?’ \nEvery day\, 12\,000 people become unpaid carers for a partner\, family member or a friend – many of whom don’t see themselves as carers\, often unaware of their legal rights and what they’re entitled to in terms of support and benefits. \nCarers should not have to miss out on support designed to reduce some of the pressures caring can bring. Whether they care 24/7 or juggle care with work and family life\, are new to caring or have been for many years\, and wherever they live in the UK – all carers deserve to understand their rights and be supported to use them if they wish. \nGet involved in Carers Rights Day and help carers in your network and local community know about their rights and the wider support available. \nAs a carer\, knowing your rights empowers you with information about what you’re entitled to. This helps you feel confident asking for what you need\, as well as challenging things when your rights are not being met – whether that be in the workplace or education\, in accessing health or social care\, or when interacting with other professionals or at home. \n#CarersRights #RecogniseYourRights #CarersSupport \n*Source: Carers Rights Day | Carers UK \n  \n\nAs always\, please check on aDoddle as help and support\, opportunities to volunteer or connect with others can often be found through local community organisations. \nPS – If you are a local community organisation and haven’t already added your details to aDoddle – please do\, it is totally free.

SUMMARY:International Men's Day
DESCRIPTION:On November 19\, International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world\, their families and communities. We highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. The theme for 2026 is “The Future is Everyone”.\nInternational Men’s Day encourages men to teach the boys in their lives the values\, character and responsibilities of being a man. Mahatma Gandhi said\, “We must become the change we seek.” It is only when we all\, both men and women\, lead by example that we will create a fair and safe society that allows everyone the opportunity to prosper. \nInternational Men’s Day is an opportunity for people everywhere of goodwill to appreciate and celebrate the men in their lives and the contribution they make to society for the greater good of all. \nhe month of November is important for the masculine soul because it gathers several events that are important to men. Movember is the month we focus on raising money for men’s health. Men’s Equality Month is a full month that we focus on achieving equal treatment and care for men and boys. On November 20\, we celebrate International Children’s Day\, which then forms 48 hours of celebration for men and children\, and the special relationship they share. \nSo we have plenty of reasons to celebrate International Men’s Day. \n#InternationalMensDay #LeadingByExample #ZeroMaleSuicide \n  \nFind Out More: https://internationalmensday.com/

SUMMARY:World Children's Day
DESCRIPTION:World Children’s Day takes place on the 20 November each year. The day marks the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child in 1959 as well as the Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in 1989. \nThis World Children’s Day\, we are giving the floor to children from around the world to talk about their lives\, their rights and their wishes for every child. \nFrom conflict\, climate change\, and mental health\, to ending racism and gender discrimination\, children are raising their voices on the urgent issues that matter to them and sharing their visions for a better world. \nThis World Children’s Day\, join us and listen to the future!  \nOnly by fulfilling and protecting the rights of every child\, everywhere — including children’s social\, economic\, cultural\, civil and political rights — can we ensure a better future for all. \nSource: World Children’s Day 2026 \n#ListenToTheFuture #UNICEF #WorldChildrensDay #ChildrensRights
