"Encouraging and Facilitating Youth Dance in Partington"

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

School of Dance

Street dance for 5-11 year olds

Every Wednesday at 6pm-7pm at The Fuse.

At present we have 30 children from Partington who join in.

It is a good project for the children that come along because all the other Dance Schools are not very affordable.

Children that have been attending for a couple of months have really improved in skill and confidence.

There is time at the end for solo dances. Initially, we only had 1 or 2 wanting to perform solos, but now I have about 9 or 10 most weeks!

Some of the boys and girls who started a while ago, were awfully shy and initially not even able to stand up and join in. Now they ask to help lead the routines from the front of class!

Join us for only £3 per person.

Additional Information

ROC School of Dance also puts on Spring, Summer and Christmas shows where the parents can come and watch the great dances and songs the children have rehearsed.

These are great and the parents all comment afterwards how successful they have been and how enjoyable it was to watch their children perform.

Especially as some parents will say, “she or he won’t do anything at home apart from watch TV. They try and interact with them but they just want to go on the internet, Facebook or TV.”

This is a lovely chance for parents, family and friends to see their children performing a skill, smiling and looking happy.
