Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
We support vulnerable people and those recovering from homelessness across Cornwall to eventually move on to independent living. The support that we provide allows people to increase their independence and personal fulfilment, and to move on with their lives through developing new skills and taking advantage of new opportunities. We provide a variety of services including accommodation and housing support to over sixty people across the county, working closely with local authorities and private landlords to help people recover from homelessness.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us achieve our mission. Our volunteers run sessions such as art group and CV writing sessions, they help to tend our garden and look after the animals on our small-holding, and they act as chaperones on trips. They can also provide essential befriending services to residents, helping them in small ways that make a big difference. This includes things like helping residents with basic household tasks and going for a coffee or just having a chat to help combat isolation.
We are very flexible in terms of volunteering and would love to hear from you to find out how you would like to get involved.
