Dawlish Action for Youth

"Providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can have fun and be given a voice"

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

Our purpose is to provide a youth club where young children can make friends, have fun, feel safe, and have the opportunity to engage in a range of leisure activities.  They have the opportunity to learn life and social skills and increase their self-confidence. The young people are encouraged to take an active role in the planning and running of sessions, giving them skills to take into adulthood.

Volunteer

Volunteer

Dawlish Action for Youth is a small committee of volunteers who passionately believe in supporting youth provision in Dawlish. We would really appreciate support from like-minded people to help support and develop the range of provision from the youth centre. Could you help?

We also need committed volunteers to help support youth activities at the Red Rock alongside youth workers and young volunteers. Full training is provided, and you may have skills you could pass on to the young people, such as craft work, music or cooking skills. You may be looking for a career in youth services. Volunteering is an ideal way to gain the skills and experience you need to progress. We have a range of opportunities from helping in the youth cafe to supporting at youth sessions. Please contact us to find out more!
