What We Do

TELEPHONE LISTENING LINE

We encourage anyone in need of a listening ear to call us on 0300 111 0101 - no problem is too great or too small. It is of no consequence whatever your faith or if you have none at all. 

The line is open daily from 9am to 12 midnight

All of our listeners have attended a Listener training course and are also required to undertake further in-house training on a regular basis.

COUNSELLING BY APPOINTMENT 

We are able to offer a high quality counselling service covering a very wide range of issues. Our counsellors either hold, or are working towards a Counselling Diploma and operate under British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) guidelines. 

If you think you might benefit from some counselling please call our office on 01752 664243 and speak to Annabel. Normal office hours are 9.00 - 1pm weekdays (Answerphone at all other times). Whilst there is no set charge for this service, clients are requested to make a minimum donation of £10 per session.

MOBILE PHONE APPEAL 

Although we have a small income from counselling clients Crossline relies mainly on donations to support this valuable work. Recently we have registered with a project called Community Fonebak which gives charities £4.00 for each mobile phone they collect for recycling. If you have a phone which you no longer use, in any condition, please would you consider donating to us for this purpose? Please contact the Crossline office on 01752 664243 for details.
