Community Project

Dawlish Garden Society

"Promoting all aspects of gardening and horticulture."

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

We currently have over 60 members and new members are always welcome. Why not come along to one of our events and see if you like us. A full list of this year’s events can be found on our website.

The society organises regular events including talks on all aspects of gardening, visits to gardens and other places of horticultural interest and talks by guest speakers.

We hold an annual  Flower, Produce and Craft Show in August open to non members.

The society has been in existence since 1860 and seeks to promote all aspects of gardening and horticulture, particularly those of interest to its members.

What We Do

We're not a conventional charity or support group in terms of  offering help ( or needing it) but we do offer the opportunity for people to connect, make friends, share a love of gardening and meet in a friendly and welcoming environment.
