We aim to
Age UK Bristol offers a free and confidential information and advice service for older people, their families and carers.
Call our Support Hub for Older People for an appointment, 0117 929 7537. Open Monday - Friday 10 - 4. Telephone advice on all topics, appointment & home visit bookings, information about other local services.
These are offered throughout the week – please ring the Adviceline to book on 0117 922 5353. We also offer a specialist home-visiting service for people and families affected by dementia, which provides advice on benefits, Lasting Power of Attorney, housing, social care, and related issues.
Age UK produces free information guides and factsheets on a wide range of topics, including home adaptations, dementia, and advice for carers. You can find a complete list of guides and factsheets on the Age UK national website
Age UK's benefits calculator will help you find out what benefits you could claim. The calculator covers England, Scotland and Wales. It is free to use, and the details you provide are anonymous.
We are open 5 days a week. We are able to provide transport for those who require it in and around the Withywood area. We offer a regular programme of activities that include exercise, dance, arts and crafts, singing, baking, walking, gardening, visits from local school children and outside entertainment to name but a few. 12 - 20 people attend per day, which creates an exciting friendly atmosphere and we have a two course hot meal freshly prepared daily in the onsite café.
LinkAge Community Services provide activities to keep older people active and connected. We run Art Club on Zoom, telephone groups, befriending and Tai Chi. Have a look on our website for more information.

We employ over 40 paid staff and we have 90+ volunteers providing a range of services for older people in Bristol. We offer training and regular support and the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in working with this group.
