Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
Buxton Repair Cafe is one of many all over the world run by volunteers. Once a month we repair all sorts of things from toys to toasters, and soft furnishings to ceramics. The items are repaired WITH the owner so that skills are shared along with 'stuff' being saved from going to waste. No fees, donations appreciated to help cover costs, particularly venue hire.
Normally we operate 10am - 2pm on the 4th Saturday of the month in a church hall.
During pandemic lockdown we are temporarily 'out of service', but we will be back when it is safe to do so, provisionally fro 23rd January 2021 (TBC please check our website)

We will have a go at most things that are small enough for you to carry into the hall, but we dont currently have sharpenning facility and we don't do microwaves.
