Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
Our Mission is to build on existing community spirit, working with local people to bring a bit more colour into all our lives. We work on the frontline providing opportunities that enable anyone in our community to connect through learning, signposting, cultural activities and having fun in a safe and caring environment.

Our community larder has a delivery weekly from Fareshare and we add to this with surplus veg from Tamar Grow Local as well as pick ups of out of date food from our local coop. Membership costs £1 and allows you to pick up any item for 20p.
We also have an honesty shelf outside so even if we are closed there is generally something out there to emphasise our commitment to sharing with out local community.
As well as food we always are on hand for a chat and a cuppa. We prefer building relationships to helping as almost all our conversations are two way information and support sharing. So whether you have a problem or a solution we love to hear from you.

Get in touchVolunteer
Anyone wishing to volunteer is super welcome to pop in. We have very informal activities like litterpicking and gardening that can be done at any time. We also have opportunities to get to know our neighbours through having a chat.
We are very interested in sharing information and learning on how to work your mobile phone/device! And passing on other learning through a network of local people happy to share their skills.
