Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
Exminster's Greenspaces team of volunteers was formed in 2014 and exists to enhance the village greenspace for both people and wildlife. The group aims to increase awareness of nature on our doorstep and provide opportunities to reconnect with nature and with each other. A sister project , developing a community garden was begun in 2024 .

We can share and support people looking to develop similar projects elsewhere. We can offer a range of practical volunteering opportunities from bulb and tree planting to graphic design on promotional materials. We want to build awareness and appreciation of nature on our doorstep .

We would love more people locally to get involved on themes that interest them eg helping the village Green Spaces team work on improvements to our natural greenspaces, or build our understanding of the nature on our doorstep - eg through the provision of expert knowledge or skills. There is something for everyone to get involved in.
