WayMakers Devon Community Interest Company
"Building neuroinclusion and wellbeing in education, healthcare, work and wider life."
We are passionate about neurodiversity, accessibility and inclusion.
Why? Because our vision is for all individuals to have the opportunity to flourish, and for society to thrive.
We specialise in autism, ADHD and AuDHD without learning disabilities, and in creating sustainable, successful systems for us all to live and work in. Our joined-up services include:
The PINN Forum - for Practitioners Meeting Neurodivergent Needs - is the result of our belief in the power of community: we are stronger together. This is one of our ways to build connections and collaborations between different sectors and service providers, and to promote peer learning.
Coaching and mentoring is tailored to individual needs and circumstances. Following an initial no-commitment meeting, we agree our desired outcomes and then meet weekly at an agreed location (or online).
Our work is strengths-based, highlighting skills, qualities and interests, while also exploring the nature of the challenges faced and validating individual experiences. We focus on finding solutions, working in partnership with the client and other agencies (where relevant) to identify the steps needed for achieving their desired goals, and then supporting those steps. Finding meaningful tools for life can be a game-changer that has a ripple effect across other aspects of people’s lives.
Our talks and workshops deepen your team's understanding of neurodivergence. Specialising in autism, ADHD and the combined autistic-ADHD profile(often known as AuDHD), we shed light on how differences in our wiring inhabit multi-dimensional spectrums, revealing unique experiences that can be well-supported by a singular approach.
Our CPD sessions shine a spotlight on common processing differences, exploring ways both to support individual needs, and to optimise individual strengths. We prioritise time for action-planning so that staff go away with better knowledge and understanding, and equipped with practical steps.
Enlightened leadership is not just about enhanced knowledge, but feeling lighter how you work with your teams.
We are not currently looking for volunteers, but thank you!
