Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
The Counselling Foundation provides counselling and counselling training. We have been working to support our communities since 1974. We work with people to prepare for a career in counselling and by offering counselling support. We offer in person, safe and confidential counselling across Herts and Beds, and online and phone across the UK.
The charity is registered with the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and therefore operates within strict, ethical standards.
We have centres in St Albans, Hertford, Broxbourne, Stevenage, Luton and Bedford.

Get in touchWhat We Do
Counselling can offer support for a range of different needs and challenges and provides a safe and confidential space for you to talk to a counsellor about your difficulties and concerns.
We offer weekly counselling sessions lasting 50 minutes each to individuals from 18 years old.
There is a fee for the first consultation meeting. We operate a sliding scale of weekly counselling fees according to your annual household income, starting from £20.
