Purley on Thames Repair Cafe

"Fix items that would otherwise be thrown any, saving money and landfill"

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

The Purley on Thames Repair Café launched in 2021 and has been a great success with more than 600 items seen to date!  We have repaired Daleks, split trousers, heirlooms and Thomas the Tank Engine.  The items have been mundane and exciting and everything in between.

§  Got a broken vacuum cleaner?

§  A wobbly chair?

§  A favourite toy needing some love and attention?

§  A favourite pair of trousers needing a new hem?

Bring them along, and our team of skilled volunteers will do their best to help you repair, restore, and reuse, saving you the cost of replacement.  Even if you don’t have a repair, come on down anyway, meet the volunteers, learn a skill or two, enjoy some delicious food and beverages
