Renew Counselling and Training
"Making counselling accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances."
At Renew Counselling and Training, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health support. For over 120 years, we have been working in communities across Essex and East London, providing counselling, training and wellbeing services to those who need it most.
We support children, young people, adults, and families facing a whole host of challenges, from anxiety to eating disorders. Our experienced counsellors offer a safe and confidential space for people to explore their feelings and build resilience.
We are proud to offer a number of fully funded counselling services through the NHS and other funders. We are also able to offer subsidised sessions to people who may not otherwise be able to afford private counselling.
We also equip professionals with the skills to support others through our accredited counselling training programmes and CPD opportunities. By investing in the next generation of counsellors and supervisors, we’re strengthening the future of mental health support.
Our work makes a tangible difference - helping people feel heard, valued, and empowered to make positive changes in their lives.
If you’re struggling with your mental health, feeling overwhelmed or need someone to talk to, Renew Counselling and Training is here to help.
We provide professional, confidential counselling for children, young people, and adults across Essex from our centres in Brentwood, Basildon and Chelmsford and in schools across the county. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties trauma, bereavement or anything else that is troubling you, our experienced counsellors offer a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
For schools and organisations, we offer tailored mental health support, including one-to-one counselling, wellbeing programmes and training for staff. We also provide CPD sessions and supervision for teachers, teaching assistants, SENDCos and pastoral staff.
If you’re a professional looking to deepen your skills, our accredited counselling training and supervision courses can support your development.
We welcome passionate individuals who want to make a real difference in their community. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to support those who are facing mental health challenges and help create a lasting impact.
