We have many activities for children and young people, including:

Venue Hire and Facilities

St Swithun’s Community Centre offers various facilities, including a nursery, meeting rooms, and event spaces available for hire, supporting both community activities and private functions.

All income from room hire is reinvested in our charity, so by booking a room with us you are supporting the work we do and our community.  Our community café provides excellent catering facilities, with excellent reviews form NHS, Wakefield Council, Yorkshire Ambulance Service and many more.

Community Café -  Café on the Moor - offering a range of freshly prepared healthy meals and home baking, including our famous scones!

Volunteer

You can help us by  donating, our Community Pantry is assisted by helpful volunteers that are incredible. As the demand for the Community Pantry increases, the supply of goods becomes scarce, so we would welcome food donation, tinned food is always a winner as they have a longer shelf life.

Volunteer

We have a wonderful team of volunteers who are involved in many activities within the project;  Holiday Activities for Children volunteers, events volunteers and many more.

Always grateful for more support.
