Wheels for Wellbeing
"To enhance disabled people’s lives by ensuring that anyone can access the benefits of cycling"
Wheels for Wellbeing exists to enhance disabled people’s lives by ensuring that anyone can access the physical, emotional, practical and social benefits of cycling.
More disabled people in the UK will cycle for everyday journeys – transport, leisure or exercise – and cycle routes will be inclusive and accessible. Our work will transform attitudes to disability and ensure a healthier population.
Wheels for Wellbeing runs inclusive cycling sessions for Disabled people of all ages and impairments in South London. Our qualified instructors and fantastic volunteers help participants (and their supporters – family members, friends or paid carers) experience the joy of cycling – often for the first time!

We try to keep prices affordable and good value, while using suitable venues, excellent staff and volunteers and a range of specialist cycles. It costs us £25 per head to provide these sessions, and we ask for a contribution towards this as below. We are always grateful to those who are able to make an additional donation to support our work.
Communications advice and support
We’re a tiny charity but already beginning to develop a unique and positive voice which is starting to change perceptions of cycling and of disability. We are always grateful for help writing and placing articles, being active on social media and sharing stories to engage others and develop a wider community of disabled cyclists.
