Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
Barons Court Project (BCP) is the only day centre in Hammersmith & Fulham dedicated to supporting people experiencing homelessness or living with mental health challenges.
Every year, we support around 900 people facing street homelessness, financial hardship, food or hygiene poverty, and social isolation.

Body
Meeting Basic Needs
We provide immediate relief through:
- Hot, nutritious breakfasts and lunches
- Showers, laundry facilities, toiletries, and clean clothing
- Health services, including dental and eye care, free glasses, podiatry, and GP referrals
Mind
Building Stability & Opportunity
We empower guests with:
- Job readiness support—volunteering opportunities, CV writing, job applications, interview coaching and job search
- Weekly mental health appointments with the Outreach Community Mental Health Team
- Our Homeless Made social enterprise, where guests design and sell greeting cards to generate income
- One-to-one support with accommodation, benefits, and language needs
Spirit
Restoring Hope & Community
To promote emotional well-being and self-development, we offer:
- Art classes and creative workshops
- Social groups for men and women
- Day trips and group activities to reduce isolation and foster friendships

If you are interested in volunteering with us we would like to hear from you. We have various roles for people who can commit one or more days per week and we also have roles for corporate groups, to come and join us for a day.
