Clean Slate Project
"A peer led recovery based lived experience recovery organisation (LERO) based in Bromley"
The Clean Slate Project provides a safe, welcoming space for people in recovery from substance issues of all kinds. It is run by a group of staff and volunteers, all of whom are living in recovery. We decided to call ourselves the Clean Slate Project because we recognise the need to wipe the slate clean of the guilt and shame we all suffered and to start our lives afresh with confidence and hope for the future.
The project offers a meeting place with food, activities and training, but above all a supporting community of those who have been through addiction and are enjoying the chance to start afresh.
The Clean Slate Project is a lived experience recovery organisation (LERO) based in the London borough of Bromley.
Our goal is to offer support and connect with others in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction
We are a peer-led project and offer a selection of group sessions including:
If you don’t feel like joining in with a group activity why not pop in for a nice cup of tea or coffee and have a chat with one of our friendly volunteers.
We offer a safe space where everyone is welcome and we hope to see you soon.
Our entire organisation is made up of lived experience volunteers and staff. Without our volunteers we wouldn't exist.
Volunteer recruitment is handled through Change Grow Live. This is because CGL have a comprehensive onboarding and full volunteer training & development programme that works well.
