Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
The ‘mission’ of Heaven’s Playground Org is to help those who have lost loved ones whatever the circumstances and whoever the loss. We hope to do that through our words and our designs. We are always available to talk and we have a shop where you can find angel-related items at reasonable prices. Michelle - our founder - feels having had a stillborn daughter and been in limbo for many of the following years that our losses should be acknowledged, talked about and that this helps the grieving process. Understandably those of our family and friends who have not been through this find it hard to connect with us or to get what is going on within us so it is up to those of us in the loss community to provide that connection for each other, to support and be there for each other and to always remember our loved ones in the way we would like.

At Heaven’s, we embark on numerous projects annually. As our organization expands, we eagerly embrace new initiatives while revisiting cherished past projects that resonated with our community. This commitment to growth and adaptability allows us to continually enhance our impact and serve with even greater purpose.
Memory Box Project
We currently donate Memory Boxes and Early Loss Boxes to hospitals and funeral homes but with our new site we now have them available to order or donate to another for the first time.Perpetual flame

Heaven's Playground Org in Crewe seeks volunteers to support bereaved families by creating memory boxes, managing social media, designing websites, and fundraising. Roles are remote-friendly, focusing on digital marketing, online shop management, and governance to support the charity’s mission of providing comfort after loss.
Key Volunteering Opportunities:
- Social Media Manager: Manages Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok to create an empathetic, supportive online environment.
- Web Designer/Online Shop Volunteer: Maintains the website (WordPress/WooCommerce), manages the online shop, and supports the annual May auction.
- Digital Marketing Creator: Develops graphics, videos, and campaigns to boost visibility.
- Trustee with Governance Experience: Provides strategic oversight, financial management, and legal compliance.
- Fundraiser/Bid Writer: Helps raise funds for memory boxes, which cost around £30 to create.
- Crafter: to make various items to go into our boxes.
- general help: working from the HO to organise into a new office and storage space, office work, lifting and general organisation.
