Community Project
Nourish Hub
"Rescue and redistributes surplus food and provide a community lunch on a Wednesday"
We welcome you to our Nourish Hub, where you will be served delicious wholesome meals and learn about low-cost, nutritious eating choices. Sustainability and healthy eating are at the heart of our work, from ‘rescued’ meals to our in-house growing towers, everything you eat and learn will support you and the environment.
The Nourish Hub is operated by the charity UKHarvest, who are here to protect the environment by rescuing good food destined for landfill and serving the community with education on nutrition, cookery skills and fighting food waste in the home.
As part of the London Good Growth Fund, the Nourish Hub is focused on making better places, empowering people and growing prosperity. Challenging and changing our relationship with food, through experience, education and building close links to the local community.
From sharing breakfast with new friends to learning how to cook healthy, tasty food and fight food waste at home, there really is something for everyone. Our friendly staff will deliver sessions for people of all ages, adapt to specific dietary requirements, use budget-friendly ingredients and demonstrate kitchen equipment commonly found in the home
Nourish Hub is open for lunch each weekday, 12-3pm Monday-Friday, open to all, no booking required.
We offer a freshly prepared three-course meal using rescued surplus ingredients, delivering nutritious vegan and vegetarian. Our talented team of chefs and volunteers prepare each day’s menu fresh every morning, transforming rescued produce into healthy, flavour-packed dishes, starting at just £3.
Many recipes are inspired by the diverse cuisines represented in our local community.
Donations on top of the minimum contribution supports our mission and allow us to host free cookery courses and events.
Nourish Hub are also hosting a fortnightly Friday food pantry where residents of Hammersmith & Fulham can come and collect a bag of rescued surplus food for a donation of £5.
Visit our events page to reserve you space at our next Pantry.
Fresh and ambient food will be available to collect, offering a wide range of good that will help support a weekly food shop, and create access to healthy and nutritious food. Most importantly it will stop that food going to waste.
Do you have a passion for the environment, your local community or food? Volunteer today and help make a difference!
We welcome everyone to volunteer with us and are incredibly proud of our team, from those with a couple of hours spare to those looking to kickstart their job prospects. We provide a safe and enjoyable experience, where you can learn skills while you donate time.
Apply for a specific role or make an enquiry to discuss further opportunities such as taking care of our hydroponic farm stands or support our staff with admin and tech roles, like taking photographs and helping creating content for social media.
We can’t wait to have you on board!
