The People's Recovery Project
"A new and innovative community approach to tackling homelessness and addiction."
The People's Recovery Project (TPRP) is a charity focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction, aiming to create sustainable recovery pathways through community-led initiatives.
The People's Recovery Project is dedicated to making recovery achievable for those facing the dual challenges of homelessness and addiction. The project recognizes that these issues are deeply interconnected and seeks to provide comprehensive support that addresses both aspects simultaneously. By fostering a community environment, TPRP aims to empower individuals to transform their lives through recovery
TPRP employs a three-step approach to support individuals on their recovery journey:
Preparation: Helping individuals prepare effectively for treatment by providing the necessary resources and support.
Treatment Curation: Coordinating access to new and alternative pathways into residential treatment, ensuring that individuals can find the help they need without unnecessary barriers.
Aftercare: Building a network of lived experience to support ongoing recovery efforts, helping individuals maintain their progress and reintegrate into society
