Kairos: Linden Grove Abstinence-Support Hostel

"Supportive housing, treatment, and hostels for people with drug and alcohol problems"

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

At Linden Grove, we offer a supportive, non-judgemental, safe, sober and clean environment where individuals can begin to rebuild their lives without alcohol or drugs. Residents typically stay between three and six months.

The hostel has 25 single rooms (16 en-suite) and is staffed 24/7.
The Linden Grove Abstinence-Support Hostel has a zero tolerance policy regarding the use of alcohol or any illegal or illicit drug.

At Kairos Community Trust, we are dedicated to helping homeless men and women with drug and alcohol problems. We do this through our abstinence-support hostel, our rehab programmes and our network of 30 supported Move-on houses, most of which are in south London.
Our core services provide: sober hostel accommodation, day programme rehab, residential rehab, supported housing and aftercare. Each service can be accessed separately or they can be combined to build individual pathways to recovery over a period of time. All our services are delivered by experienced teams of qualified therapists, support workers and administrators.
Addiction and homelessness are twin problems, and we believe that the journey to recovery from drugs and alcohol begins in a safe, secure environment

■ accessing statutory entitlements, e.g. benefits
■ exploring social, cultural, educational and leisure outlets
■ addressing any other presenting needs and/or issues
■ looking at and making plans for the most appropriate onward move, either within Kairos services or outside
