St Lukes Service

"We offer free support and advice to those in Barking and Dagenham concerned about alcohol or drugs."

Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

We provide support, advice and information to people in Barking and Dagenham who are worried about their relationship with alcohol or drugs.

Whatever your concerns, you'll be listened to. We will tailor our support to you to help you reach your goals and create a happier, healthier life.

When you arrive, you'll be welcomed by a friendly member of our team. They'll explain the next steps to you, where you’ll also be able to ask any questions you might have about the service.

You're welcome to bring someone with you if you'd like. There are drinks available and if you're waiting for a group or appointment, there are places to sit and leaflets to read.

If you have any specific needs, please let us know before your appointment, just give us a call on 0208 595 1375.

Volunteer

Volunteer

We are always looking to recruit new volunteers for a variety of roles. We offer community mentoring, service user representative roles and more.

Peer mentors

Many of the people who come into our services are nervous and unsure what to expect. If you have been through treatment, you can become a peer mentor and help reassure people. You can give advice because you understand what people are going through.

Contact

If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor or a volunteer, please contact Paul Gamble directly at [email protected] or email our team at [email protected] for further information.
