The team at the Pier Road Project are here to support you. Our services provide support for drug and alcohol treatment, prevention, early intervention and wellbeing. We will work with you to improve your quality of life and achieve your goals on your journey to recovery.
We know that everyone is different so we do this in ways that suit you including; group work, cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, complementary therapies, harm reduction, counselling, drop-in services, key work sessions, relapse prevention and much more.
We aim to provide a comprehensive and high quality service in a caring and respectful environment.
We provide free and confidential support to people who have been affected by someone else’s drinking or drug use.
Someone close to a drug or alcohol user can feel stuck; wanting to help but unsure how, in need of advice and support but not knowing where to find it. We help family members, partners and friends to regain control over their own life, whether or not the drug or alcohol user is receiving help.
We can help you to better understand the effects of drug or alcohol use, give you information about the support available to the user, and help you to regain control of your own life.
Partnership working and engagement with professionals from other disciplines is the cornerstone of delivering comprehensive care that addresses the varying and complex needs of the people we see. As such Pier Road has built close alliances with the statutory and voluntary sector agencies in the areas where we work.
Our culture of multi agency and collaborative working is embedded through established professional networks which seek to support the health and social care needs and expressed wishes of service users.
