Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes
We are a DIY, volunteer-run, squatted social centre in West Gorton. We are a free, welcoming and inclusive space for local residents and community groups. Every week we host community meals and events, including a legal cafe, free yoga and a youth club! All our events are open to everyone who shares our values of love, respect, play, freedom, sharing food and building community power.

We are a shared space for everyone to come together and connect. We have specific events during our opening hours:
Thursdays
12-6pm - free community cafe with hot food and drinks
Saturdays
Open 2-8pm for drop ins and events
10am - 1.30pm - free youth group for under 16s with sports, arts and shared meal
2-4pm - free legal drop-in for support with housing, benefits and immigration issues, run by trainee lawyers
6-8pm - free community meal, open to EVERYONE
Sundays
Open 2-8pm for drop ins and events
2pm - Bingo

We are looking for volunteers and people to run events, as well as people to come and enjoy the space. Please come down and speak to us during opening hours and we can help you get involved!
We are free to book for community events and private meetings for local groups. If you would like to run an event, please email us at [email protected]. This can be outside of normal opening hours.
