Who We Help, Why We Help & the Difference It Makes

What We Do

space2grieve offers free, confidential, one-to-one bereavement support.

Our highly-trained bereavement support specialists are here to listen, understand, and support you as you find your way forward.

You don't need a referral. Support is available by phone, Zoom and in person.

We provide support for adults, children, young people and families living in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

Our specialist Children and Young People's Bereavement Support Service supports children and young people aged 3–18 who have been affected by bereavement.

Parenting through Grief is a free bespoke provision for parents of bereaved children.

Compassionate Cuppa is a free drop-in grief café providing support and connection.

We are open to those who are bereaved, no matter when and no matter how. space2grieve volunteers will offer a warm welcome, but more importantly a safe place to share experiences with other bereaved people.

Be part of a group motivated to make a difference to our local community, now and in the future.

Being part of space2grieve means being part of a group of people dedicated to providing bereavement support for the residents of Richmond borough. It gives you a chance to gain new skills, build friendships, attend regular social events and training, share ideas, and most of all, contribute to our local community.

We recruit volunteer Bereavement Supporters to join our dedicated Specialist Team and provide full training.
