The People's Show Choir Weston-super-Mare
"Weston-super-Mare's friendly no-audition choir. Meets Fridays 7:30–8:30 pm. Two free sessions."
The People’s Show Choir is a welcoming adult community choir for beginners, returners and anyone ready for something more uplifting in their week. With 2 free sessions, no auditions, no need to read music and the lift of live music in rehearsals, it is built to be easy to join, genuinely exciting to be part of and far more rewarding than a typical choir experience. From your first visit, you will find a real welcome, music you know and love, and a stronger sense of belonging from the very start.
Most people come on their own. Some bring friends. You’ll be welcomed straight away.
If you're looking to improve your wellbeing, meet new people or enjoy a fun weekly activity, The People's Show Choir Weston-super-Mare is here to help. We welcome adults of all abilities, with no auditions and no need to read music. Singing together can boost confidence, reduce loneliness, improve mental wellbeing and help you build lasting friendships. Your first two sessions are free, giving you the chance to experience our friendly, supportive community before deciding whether to join.
There are lots of ways to support The People's Show Choir Weston-super-Mare beyond singing. We welcome volunteers to help promote the choir locally, distribute posters and leaflets, support concerts and events, assist with welcoming new members and help spread the word through social media. Whether you can give a little time occasionally or become more involved, your support helps us bring more people together through the power of music and build a stronger, more connected community.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, and has accessible toilets. There is limited on-site parking but plenty of free, nearby, on-road parking.
