Three sober, rave-loving friends who weren’t quite ready to hang up their party boots got together to create an event that they wanted to go to.
They wanted to create something special to help address the lack of sober spaces, especially for the LGBTQ+ community, that everyone would enjoy. The sober events out there were great but not quite what they were looking for… and regular nights out were often fab too but the drunkenness, not so much.
It needed to be BOLD, FLAMBOYANT & GLITTERY. So they went BIG and their first event took place in October 2022. And The House of Happiness was born!
And that’s us! We’ve delivered 11 EPIC SOBER RAVES as well as supported the first ever Pride Swim, co-hosted the two years of official Pride in London sober events, played & cheered on runners at the London Marathon on one of the stages & recently had our first festival gig with As One in the Park.
During that time, The House of Happiness has also featured in The Guardian, Metro, TimeOut, Low No Drinker & PinkNews. As a team, we’ve made guest appearances on various podcasts and radio shows including BBC Radio London. We were also named as Cosmopolitan’s No.1 Sober Event in London!
