This week it is #WorldHeartHealthDay
Heart Heroes works with children and their families living with heart conditions. Thier aim is to provide services for these children, helping them meet others who are in similar situations and allow families to talk to other families going through similar experiences.
At Heart Heroes they:
Support children with heart diseases aged 0 – 16.
Organise events and provide socialising opportunities for children to attend.
Aim to introduce families with similar experiences so that they can support each other.
At aDoddle we hear, time and time again from people, that it is organisations like Heart Heroes that provide ‘light at the end of the tunnel’. Feeling like part of a community, being able to connect with others, helps to inform them, know they are not alone, gives them a space to open up and face fears .. The list is endless.
