‘Pooja’ – Searching for Places to Socialise

A portrait of a woman with text about her story: Pooja is married with three children, looking for a group or activity to join monthly for personal time. Her husband supports her, having joined a photography club. At the bottom of the image, there's a logo of aDoddle.org. The overall theme of the image suggests a focus on community connection and personal identity. Hashtags: "#ConnectedCommunities #aDoddleIt" and "Connecting Communities – 1 Click at a Time"

Meet 'Pooja'

Pooja is married and has three children under 7. She is looking for a group to join or an activity to do once a month so that she can have some time where she can be ‘herself’ and not ‘Mum’. Her husband supports this as he recently joined a local photography club.

Looking for support for friend or relative ...

Whether you’re supporting a friend across the country or a family member in your own town, aDoddle’s network of connected community maps extends across the UK.

You can search for local resources in any community, so if you live in Cornwall but need to find support groups for a loved one in Scotland, aDoddle.org can help.

And for those without internet access, aDoddle has the ability for a friend or family member to print out lists of resources, ensuring everyone has access to local community information.

Please note: Each of our ‘stories’ of users, of aDoddle’s community maps, are based on real people and stories we’ve heard. However, names have been changed and we’ve used ‘stock’ photos from Canva to preserve identities.
