Dignity Action Month

Dignity Action Day has now become Dignity Action Month, and is an annual observance dedicated to promoting and upholding the principles of dignity and respect in the delivery of care services, particularly in healthcare and social care settings. The month serves as a reminder of the importance of treating every individual with #Compassion, understanding, and respect, regardless of their age, health condition, or personal circumstances.

This year’s theme – 3 Little Deeds -Spread kindness, respect and compassion – promote Dignity.

Dignity Action Month is an annual opportunity for health and social care workers, and members of the public to uphold people’s rights to dignity and provide a truly memorable day for people who use care services.

Dignity Action Month aims to ensure people who use care services are treated as individuals and are given choice, control and a sense of purpose in their daily lives.
