People all over the world are often inspired to want to do something for a worthy cause, but they simply don’t know where to start. That’s because all of us tend to focus on the big acts of volunteering — the types that make the news. Fortunately, there’s another way that people can take action that’s just as good as the big sweeping acts of #Charity.
#Microvolunteering allows people to take smaller actions, many times from the comfort of their own homes, to support a cause that they believe in. It’s something that allows everyone to take action and that’s why people try their hands at doing it on International Microvolunteering Day. This day falls on 15th April every year and allows everyone to support the causes they love.
People can spread the news of this Awareness Day through social media and encourage other people to also support their favourite causes by taking the time to spread the news of this cause using the hashtag #MicrovolunteeringDay on social media.
This is a great way to help encourage change and to get all of us on the same page. So, let’s go out there and support the organisations that we support.
