Transgender Day of Remembrance has been observed annualy for over 20 years. It is a day to remember those who have been murdered as a result of Transphobia.
It is also a day to raise awareness of the fact that sadly violence and abuse is still happening today – it is time to change that. Every single person matters and abuse and violence are not acceptable in todays world.
As always, please check on aDoddle as help and support, opportunities to volunteer or connect with others can often be found through local community organisations.
PS – If you are a local community organisation and haven’t already added your details to aDoddle – please do, it is totally free.
