Every July, Samaritans branches across the UK and Ireland hold local events to talk about the services they offer in their communities. Volunteers come from all walks of life, with a wide age range, and spend three hours a week in our centre supporting all kinds of people who need a confidential, non-judgmental ear to listen at a tough time in their life.
