Active & In Touch

Feelings of isolation and loneliness can be difficult to deal with. Sometimes we just need someone to help us meet other people and to re-connect with the community around us.

Need a little company? Wanting to try something new? Nervous of going somewhere on your own?

Active and In Touch Frome is a charity that reaches out to people who are isolated and alone and invites them to become an Active and In Touch member and receive support, befriending and practical help.  You may wish to join their scheme because you have become isolated following a bereavement or a change in your health or personal circumstances.  Perhaps you are new to the area and yet to make friends.

Why is aDoddle unique?

All information is added directly by the charities, community groups and organisations themselves. They are encouraged to share:

The 5 key things that people want to know about your charity, community group or organisation - Who you help, how you help, the difference you make, the help you need and how to contact you

aDoddle adds to this by having a unique ‘Traffic Light’ system which instantly shows people ‘How fresh’ the information is. Giving confidence to the person seeking thier help or wanting to support them.
