Dorset Mind
Dorset Mind is a pioneering charity that educates, challenges mental health stigma and inequality and promotes recovery from mental ill health. They do this by empowering individuals of all ages to understand the recovery process and by assisting them to develop resilience.
They educate people about the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and support people to identify and develop new coping skills. The charity also run an accredited one-to-one befriending programme, designed to help people regain confidence and social skills.
