#FPoW – Tax Help for Older People

This Weeks Featured Profile is

Tax Help for Older People

Tax Help for Older People provides free, confidential and professional tax advice to Older People (60+ or approaching retirement) with an annual income of less than £20,000.

They understand that many older people may not have the confidence to talk with officials, or perhaps are vulnerable or confused by tax matters and would prefer to discuss the issue with an independent adviser.

Volunteers are available to provide free personal income tax advice for pensioners across the UK, although initial contact should be to their team of tax advisers in Dorset.

Why is aDoddle unique?

All information is added directly by the charities, community groups and organisations themselves. They are encouraged to share:

The 5 key things that people want to know about your charity, community group or organisation - Who you help, how you help, the difference you make, the help you need and how to contact you

aDoddle adds to this by having a unique ‘Traffic Light’ system which instantly shows people ‘How fresh’ the information is. Giving confidence to the person seeking thier help or wanting to support them.
