International Volunteer Day

Today is International Volunteer Day – A day to promote volunteerism, encourage more people to consider volunteering, and encourage governments to support volunteering efforts.

Volunteers are the glue that holds together many charitable organisations. Without their efforts, many charities would struggle to make the vital impact that helps so many people to live their lives every day.
